On November 28 Judge Mark Boessenecker declined our request to intervene in Hoopes Vineyard’s property rights case. He reversed his initial preliminary ruling which would have allowed us to join the case.
We are going to continue to pursue our rights as pre-WD0 wineries and are currently weighing all of our options in order to find the best path forward.
We know we are acting on behalf of, and speaking for, many other Napa wineries who are afraid of coming forward to clarify their situations which are similar to ours.
In continuing to fight this fight, we hope the public sees the enormous legal expenditures of taxpayer dollars on the part of Napa County to fight the very wineries which are the County’s lifeblood.
We will not stop advocating until our rights are recognized.
